Because I want you to see how important History is to me, here is how it all started:

The first scrapbook I ever made was 13 years ago for my Grandad. I had collected old family photos from my aunts, uncles, cousins, parents and anyone who held some of our family heritage in their homes. This book wasn't fancy or full of bells and whistles, but it was a treasure among us as I presented it to him on Christmas Eve. Everyone signed it and wrote a few words, in their own handwriting, as a token of our love and appreciation. The greatest gift I recieved that year was the look on his face when he opened it, and looked up and around the room at what a great family he has been blessed with. I felt very honored that I could create something so magical and so moving for a person that I want to share this gift many more times.
